Isso Vista Pack for Motorola WA840GP
I did this for some time back and was delaying writing this guide, I had a motorola wireless router WA840GP which wanted to install a linux distro called OpenWRT which is responsible for replacing the firmware that comes with the router manufacturer, being more customizable so when configuring the router at will. The problem then was that it was not proven in this router and ran the risk of damaging the machine, in the end everything turned out well and satisfactory.
first thing is to flash the router, ie we change the firmware OpenWRT Linux distro for wireless routers, in this case after testing various versions it worked very well with whiterussian 0.9 for download:
http: / / downloads.openwrt.org/whiterussian/0.9/whiterussian-0.9.tar.bz2
recommend doing this flash with the cable network's router directly connected to the PC and not wirelessly. If even that have with the factory firmware to the address you bring the default gateway from a web browser and drop:
http://192.168.40.1
In the web interface we request a username and password factory which is
user: admin
password: motorola
tab There is a firmware upgrade which allows us to upload the firmware *. bin format, after making this interface will not graphics for web, telnet enter only the first time and then always ssh.
first thing to do is enter telnet to place the password and password to close the port and only ssh to log into the router. From a console: telnet 192.168.1.1
change the root password by typing passwd
So
:
telnet 192.168.40.1 Trying 192.168.40.1 ...

Interest Letter To Sorority
Convert UIF to ISO image, BIN, NRG
usually use Daemon Tools to emulate most of the images that get on the internet and the problem is always the UIF image format that can be opened only with Magic ISO, I do not really like to have in that format so I found that UltraISO can convert all these DIPOS pictures, form is very simple, you will
File -> Open
Looking UIF image, and then go
Tools -> Convert
And there gives you the option of turning it into the desired format, ISO, BIN and CUE, NRG. In a previous post talked about using this program to burn images on a USB storage device.
